X-Factors to Enhance Your Master Bath Renovation

There are a few tried-and-true features that form the basis of almost any master bath renovation. We’re talking about things like a new vanity and a new shower. However, instead of pointing out the obvious, we’re profiling the unique X-factors that can make your remodel design all your own.

Free-standing tub in renovated master bathroom

Free-Standing Tub – This is a 2021 master bathroom idea that we expect to be a design staple for years to come. A free-standing soaking tub provides an element of spa-like luxury to your bathroom. From a relaxation standpoint, there’s no better way to unwind from a long day than with a soak in a deep free-standing tub.

Modern master bathroom with tile shower

Large Format Tile Shower – Pairing naturally with a soaking tub, you’ll want a standing shower to complete your design. A glass door and a curb-less entry are features that almost all new showers have. If you’re looking for a style X-factor, we recommend large format tiles as your pattern for the shower itself. Large format tiles come in an enormous range of shades and colors and are on-trend and poised to stay that way!

Master bathroom remodeled with towel rack

Heated Elements – There’s nothing worse than getting ready for work in a chilly bathroom. That’s why heated towel racks and a heated floor are a must-consider addition for your master bath renovation. While most luxury upgrades are all about what you see, this one is focused on what you feel.

Modern bathroom with light up mirror

Lighted Mirror – Here’s a 2021 bathroom remodel idea that is has a bright future – and we know it’s going to be an all-time classic. Lighted mirrors feature soft LED lights underneath, around, or behind the mirror itself. This touch brings another intuitive light source to your new bathroom in a very unique way that is perfect for getting ready in the morning – as well as taking great selfies.

Extra storage cabinets in master bathroom

Storage Options – When you’re looking for extra features to bring to your dream bathroom, don’t overlook the convenience of extra storage. Whether that looks like extra room in a vanity or a new, in-bathroom linen closet, it can be included as part of your design. Since full-scale master bathroom remodels often entail bathroom remodeling contractors tearing out what’s there now, adding an extra closet or larger cabinet space is easier than you think.

Modern farmhouse bathroom renovation

His and Her Sinks – This is a practical option that also provides a cozy and homey feel to the master bath renovation. His and her sinks make starting and ending your day together even easier and more satisfying since you’ll never have to wait for the sink or fight for mirror space. Even if you think that his and her sinks are a little old fashioned, they are coming back in a big way – and we can make them look contemporary enough for the vast majority of designs.

I would give Choice 10 stars if I could. The folks at Choice Home Remodeling have replaced all 31 of the windows in our house over the past year. They are incredibly professional and deliver an outstanding final product. The replacement windows look better than the originals and I get compliments on them all the time! The inside temperature of the inside glass on a 55 degree day has improved by 8 degrees! I am looking forward to seeing what the differential is once the weather turns cold. Their pricing is fair and the quality is second to none. I recommend them 1000%.
We absolutely love the new door we just had installed from Choice! We had such a great experience with Choice from start to finish. Tim was great and helped us pick out the perfect door for our home and didn't try to sell us the most expensive model and was honest, not pushy. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and professional and the work was top notch.
I bought my windows from them. Everyone one was so nice and professional. Christie was very helpful. Thank you, will use again for other projects
So pleased with our bathroom renovation by Choice Home Remodeling! Alyssa Hayes did an excellent job in designing a functional and attractive way to best utilize our small space. Our kids are thrilled to have their own sinks! Alyssa patiently guided us through the design choices, made recommendations and outlined the construction process. The construction phrase was very timely, and Ken Brown was available for any questions and kept us informed of the schedule and what part of the project was happening when. I was very impressed that the job was finished very close to the scheduled completion date. The Choice staff and subcontractors were all respectful of our space and did a thorough job.
